So how can you help?

There are a number of ways you can support these children. Here are a few ideas.

Crafts for sale:  We have been given a stock of Handmade Crafts to sell.  Our project will keep 50% of the total proceeds and the other 50% goes back to the Harambee  Street Kids charity.

We have prepared a catalogue of the items we have in stock, but we can take orders if we do not have the item wanted. We will then order these from the charity direct.

If you would like a copy of the catalogue please click here to download a catalogue with an order form.

Sponsor the project directly by paying an amount of your choice.

(To give you an idea £20 per month will cover the basic cost of supporting one child in the safe house, giving them food, clothes and medical help)

They would also be able to attend Primary school, but we would have to pay extra to send them to secondary school.

Raise money by doing a Boot Sale or arrange a sponsored event.

Hold a Harambee Party. Invite your friends to come and see imported African crafts which, can be purchased. Have fun and raise money at the same time.

Youth project or school? You could adopt a whole or part of a project and raise funds to maintain it.

Or go out to Kenya with others to work on a project. Encouragement and support are greatly appreciated and needed.  Please contact us to find out more or share your ideas.
